Re: BaseCamp Version 4.3.3 (Win7 & Win8)

The only thing I find "nice" on Base camp is the printing options! If I need to print I good map, I use Base camp, the rest I use Map source.

As one of my previous bosses often says, "Humans are inherently resistant to change"!

Caravan Parks

Hi Guys, On the "Old" Garmap forum, some-one had uploaded a .gpx file of caravan parks. I have just bought myself a 20 year old caravan in very good condition, and want to set out to a few decent caravan parks, any chance any-one out there still has that file, or even better, an updated ve...

Re: New technology in speed enforcement

Hope it's coordinates are on the database. Sent from my Android device using Tapatalk Hi Quinton, I have given the details through to Frans of the 2 known locations in the Ventersdorp district. Whether these devices are being deployed across KZN, I cannot say at this stage of the race. But we do as...

Re: TomTom RHD

As far as I know, you can use garmin's POI Loader to create a .GPI file, and then use a program like GSK to convert from GPI to ov2! Just send the GPI file to a flash drive using POI Converter.

Hope this helps

Re: The Meaning of the abrviation RHD

Do not always trust what is to be found on Wikipedia! I was checking something on Google the other day, and a link found to a wiki site was definitely incorrect. As far as I know, it is a community driven site, where a lot of the information is unsubstantiated data or facts! (I checked how many inci...

I think that is because it will avoid all the incorrectly labelled roads and take you the loooooooooooooong way round!

Re: ecoRoute HD

I bought one of these units.

It does not work on my 2004 Isuzu KB nor my 2011 Nissan NP300, but it does work in my wifes work Opel Corsa (2004)!

If you ever come down to KZN let me know and you could try it out to see if it would work in your car!
