Since installing Garmap 2013.1 I am getting a conflict between the two maps installed on my unit [3790LT].
I have read elsewhere that one should NOT activate both mapsets at the same time, however when I disable the CN maps and activate 2013.1, the main CN map automatically reactivates. This leads to the screen "blanking" and seemingly reloading the current maptile at frequent intervals - particularly at junctions. This occurs even after rebooting the unit after changing the activated map.
There is no problem when I only have CN activated and I did not have the problem prior to upgrading to SASM 2013.1 from Topo 2012.4.
I have installed CN on the main unit and 2013.1 on the SD card.
Any suggestions to overcome this will be greatly appreciated.

If you cannot deselect a Map it Usually means that the 2 Maps were installed in a single file.Keith wrote:Since installing Garmap 2013.1 I am getting a conflict between the two maps installed on my unit [3790LT].

This does not seem to be the issue in your case.
First thing to do is a hard reset.
Remember to backup your Favourites first.
Do you have the latest firmware loaded for your unit ? Check with Webupdater.
Try deleting and then re-installing the SSA. (Use Mapsource ) Reboot after deleting.
Last resort visit GSA to show them problem.

Re: Conflict Between Activated Garmap and CN Maps
Sorry about delay.
Have tried the various steps, however there is no improvement. I will take it through to Garmin on my return home at the end of next week.
Will let you know what they do/recommend.

Re: Conflict Between Activated Garmap and CN Maps
Unfortunately have not had time to get to Garmin, however the problem seems to have resolved itself after installing CN2014.1 - can only assume that 2013.4 was corrupted some how although the maps displayed correctly.
