Garmin Express Updates

Garmin began rolling out Garmin Express v6.8.1 for the PC today. If you would like to update to the latest version, please visit the About page within the Settings of the Express application and select “Check for Updates to Express.” This version includes the following changes:
For our Fitness and Outdoor devices that support ephemeris, we fixed an issue with Express providing an expired EPO.bin file.
Our Android OS devices will update successfully now.
Express would indicate a successful sync, but the activity would not get uploaded. If an activity fails to upload, Express will indicate a failure instead.
We’ve improved the download progress for our marine charts. The progress will no longer sit at 1 minute for an extended period of time.
Fixed a crash that occurs for users who are specifically running Windows 10 version 1703.
Other minor bug fixes and improvements.

Garmin began rolling out Garmin Express v6.9.0 for the PC today. If you would like to update to the latest version, please visit the About page within the Settings of the Express application and select “Check for Updates to Express.” This version includes the following changes:
Fixed an issue that could prevent Express from detecting a vívoactive 3 Music device.
Other minor bug fixes and improvements.

Improve syncing with our Garmin Mode USB devices, such as the Forerunner 305.
Corrected a string that was translated incorrectly in Czech.
We’ve made a change to help prevent users from accidentally activating Downloadable Content to the wrong device. It is now required that the device is connected to the computer.

Added support for voucher codes, which can be redeemed from the Purchased tab.
Fixed an issue so that users can correctly renew safety camera subscriptions from the Purchased tab.

For our devices that support SD cards, we’ve added a second storage meter to the Tools & Content page. This will display the used and remaining free space of an SD card that’s inserted into the device.
Users with ANT devices can now select the Continue button to download a firmware update.
Map updates should no longer fail for Australia/New Zealand devices with the TopoActive AU/NZ map.

Addressed an issue causing a high number of map update failures.

This version is supposed to fix update failures but it does not.
I suggest you do not to update to this version

Hi all, a word of warning....DO NOT download and install the latest version of Garmin Express....there is a built in glitch that causes a problem with CN SA map updates.

Although I agree with not updating Garmin Express as mentioned in my post above there is something not checking out with that site. Our Latest version before this update they are showing version v6.3
In any case I found a work around for the problem see my post in the map section,
