Hi Jan,

I hope what I have done has worked. I merged the 2 databases to see if the information was retrieved. On a side note, once logged in, click on "Delete all board cookies" and this does some syncronising of the information.

Hi Jan,

Is it my imagination, or is the forum a little bit faster with the mods I have removed and the database merge I did? It appears to me to be the case.

Difficult to say I have been using a 4g Router for some time now and the forum loads in if I look at bottom of the page at around between 0.2 to 0.05 of a second. That is virtually instantaneous. The download CN around 2 minutes.

Still have some cleaning to do to get rid of features that aren't being used. Hopefully it will make things a little bit faster.

It would. I have been looking at the structure of the various forums. I am sure that the changes I made in the Map Productsforum would also make an improvement. The CN maps were hidden away in sub forums of sub a forum. They are now more accessible and visible. The more direct access wil make things easier and faster reducing the levels you have to go through to get t o them. There were also a duplication where two forums were covering the same subject. I copied the topics across and deleted the duplicate.

I see we are gaining an average of two new members a day.

Yes we do. Looking at the wall of shame I also not that we attracting quite some attention from the unwanted but the system is doing what tis designed to do. One unwanted tried registering quite a few times switching IP adresse before he gave up.
I have completed the new layout of the Map Products Forum. Hope this will improve accessibility of the CN maps. Also merged all the Garmap Maps into a single forum to keep it as an archive sort of.
