Am I correct in assuming .wav are the way to go, as opposed to .mp3, for the voice prompts/warnings on my Montana 600?
Anyone that can advise, I'd be mighty grateful...
Thanks,
Paul

Re: Montana sound files
Paul the Nuvi 710 and maybe a few other that were marketed a few years ago came out with Mp3 players. The newer Nuvi's and other models play wave files with the help of sox-14.0.1. I am sure the Montana will be no acception.
