thanks Phillip, i can get one for R10k and thats not a bad price we want to overland and if you go deepest darkest there are problems with cell signals...not sure about tying phones to satphone signals i know places in Namibia that cell signals are non existent

have a lot of work to do...they swiped all our pc'c in February...my whole collection of tracks, years worth...gone

Ive been pretty busy with the other hobbies...rocks :-) also had a massive back op which slowed me down but i still think of you guys :-) so it looks like it must be uncompressed which mine goes funny...maybe its damaged :-(

Hi Jan, how did you get these maps to install?

Just to catch up...i used the GPS'r version for a short period for cross border and tracks and it worked like a bomb...but at R800 odd per year its pricy
