3590 As replacement for the 3790

#1092

Post by otto_roth »

I see the 2495LT and the 3590LT advertised at Makro and quite a price difference = What makes the one R1000 more than the other???

??

Erich

OK - found the comparison page on http://www.garmin.com and seems one has some more features than the other :(

Now it has been said(?) that the 3790 and 3490 are physically identical....... Possibly we must try the upgrade before worrying about the 3590....

Decisions, decisions.....

BTW: Any better prices than Makro's R1999 and R2999??

Only R100 difference in price Erich that would make the 3590LT a bargain

Edit
I see you changed it to R1000

This is an edited version of something I posted earlier in this topic on the 3490LMT which is also relevant for the 3590. It is an extract of the launching notification and I hope that explain the price difference

Bliksem! Ek het my al amper oorreed om NIE een te koop nie - maar wat, 'n mens is net eenmaal jonk! (Jys is so jonk as wat jy voel!)

My vrou laat nog nou en dan glip dat "Wanneer gaan jy opgroei?!" Antwoord is eenvoudig - Nooit! Dit is te lekker om Kind(s) te wees! Sal miskien agv nog 'n stroke, hartaanval of die groot K dadelik "Oud" word - maar op die oomblik...... Ek dink my sig hieronder sê dit ook!

Waar sal mens beste pryse kry?

Dankie en Groete!

When I looked at the 2012 Range I saw 20, 30, 40, & 50 and though "wat gaan nou aan!" Wil nie 'n "Ou" ding koop nie...

But on the Garmin (co.za or .com) I came across a comparison chart:
http://www.garmin.co.za/images/incar_na ... motive.pdf that seems to compare all.

Also it goes through the ranges and the x4xx and x5xx fefers to the 4" or 5" Screens:

Premium Series
With stunning design and our most sophisticated navigation features, the nüvi 3490LMT Bundle and 3590LMT Bundle are faster, more accurate and includes the world's slimmest GPS navigator.
Stunning, slim design | Works faster, saves you time | Lifetime Mapping | 3D Lifetime Traffic to help avoid delays | Safer driving with hands-free control | High-definition capacitive touchscreen | Available with a 4" or 5" screen

let me pprint out the pdf on aa A3 sheet and see what it tells me!

Hi Erich,

You can also post the comparison chart on the forum if you want to, as I am sure that it will be of benefit to all member who will/are/may be in the market for new kit.
