Anyone else no longer getting traffic notifications?

I have a 3790LT with a lifetime traffic subscription, and I have noticed that for several months the traffic icon on the map has been solidly green at all times (which I presume means it is successfully connected to the traffic receiver, but is not actually receiving updates) and roads are no longer highlighted according to their traffic status. Is it just me, and if so, what could I have broken? I travel in mostly in the Sandton and Randburg areas. I have checked my subscription settings and nothing seems to have changed there.

I have suspected the same problem for about a month now. Always on green, however can be in a traffic snarl-up. Also major hold-up's reported on the radio over an extended period do not show up on the traffic map.

I recall there was a firmware update for TMC several weeks ago, although checking the details it appeared to only be applicable for Russian languages (and a couple of other languages/locations). Perhaps this could be the problem??

I was in Jo'burg today.From where the N12 from Potch joins the N1, to Randburg, Sandton, Isando, Springs, Boksburg the icon stayed all the time green. But I was stuck in seven really MAJOR traffic jams.

Yesterday was the first time I have driven for 2 weeks, and I got a non-green traffic icon for the first time in months. The map showed traffic jams around the highway, but nothing on the highway itself (N1 South between William Nicol and Malibongwe) which was also at an almost complete standstill.

A colleague who also has a 3790LT has also said that he hasn't received any traffic notifications for ages. Also don't seem to get anything on my wife's nuvi 1410 with traffic receiver.

I will send another email to Denise. They are aware that there is a problem but so far I have had no feedback from them. I saw that she visited the forum yesterday at 14:00.

The feedback from Altec Nedstar is that Garmin updated (read as changed) the traffic management on the latest maps. Only those who have the latest map updates on their units will be able to receive the traffic management notifications.
