Re: CN 2013.40 Accuracy
OK I have contacted Garmin SA about the procedure installing the CN Maps on the Apple Mac. This facility is only available on a Mac when installing map updates and not in between updates. Seems I'll have to wait for the next map update.

Connect Nuvi to Mac and select Garmin Map Install from the Dock or Launchpad. In Garmin Map Install scroll down to bottom and select "Advanced". Then select "Install to Nuvi and Computer".dasilvarsa wrote:Can you Please share the procedure anyway for other members just in case !!

Re: CN 2013.40 Accuracy
Feedback:-
Regarding the actual accuracy of CN 2013.40, if your wallet isn't concerned about Toll roads and you want to get to your destination in a hurry, then it is a good mapset to use to get from point A to point B with the new streetnames (even the new ones in Potchefstroom). I have also used it in the greater Johannesburg CBD and just typed in place names (like Makro) and it took me to the nearest Makro without a hitch. Although it wanted to take me through the Clearwater Mall parking to get me there and as soon as I started heading off in another known direction to get to Makro, it recalculated the route and got me to my destination.
It would seem that CN are geting there when it comes to getting you from one place to another, but they still lack the finesse of Garmap SSA Streetmaps in using more direct routes (given, I was testing both on Mapsource to route to Newcastle from Potchefstroom, bypassing all Toll roads and using the shorter distance options).
Overall rating: 7/10
