Hi from Argentina!

Hi everybody!
I'm from Argentina, 60 yers old, lawyer (I'm sorry...)
I own a GARMIN GPSMAP 276C.
I used it aboard my 34' motorsailer to sail around Rio de la Plata, and also in my 1995 Honda Accord when I travel through Patagonia and Brasil.
I have my oldest daughter living in Camps Bay, and in a few days she will married with a south african boy.
I will bring my GPS to Cape Town to negotiate the Garden Route after the wedding party.
I have charged it with Garmap SSA Streetmaps 2012.3 NT.
Do you recommend me some another special file with POI or something else to add?
Thank you!

Hi PAMISA and welcome,

Have a look at the Road Hazard Data pages on the forum. These will help you with getting around the Garden Route safely and without getting a traffic fine.

Hope this helps. Maybe other members can suggest POI's to download.

Pamisa, welcome here. I was in Argentina last year on business and drove from Buenos Aires through to La Plata - what a beautiful place!! There are several places along the Garden Route that are worth visiting, enough to keep you busy for more than a month. If you visit the local tourist information places you will find that they have a lot of free brochures pointing you in the right direction. Unfortunately there are several other places , eg drive through the forests, that are not listed.

Taken, there and back.
