#1040

Post by Swannie »

My "At the pump' file somehow got corrupted, it doesn't update the latest data when I fill up.I always open the file in Excell after filling up and save it as an Excell file on the PC, but the three or so last fill ups doesn't show.
Can some one please help me..

Hi Swannie,

Have a look if it hasn't started a new file.
Try to delete that file and then re-enter your last fillup to see if it starts a new file.
If these don't fix it then:
I suggest you back up your favourites and do Hard Reset. (Use Basecamp or Mapsource to backup favourites and Copy /GPX/Current.GPX to hard drive)
To back up your trips have a look in /.System for a folder called /Trips (Copy this folder as well to the hard drive)
You will have to restart Ecoroute by entering your Vehicle Profile after hard reset.

Garmin Nuvi 37xx Factory Reset

Method 1
1.Start with the device turned fully off and unplugged from power
2.Power on the device
3.When the first copyright screen appears press and hold the lower right hand corner of the display portion of the touchscreen
4.Remove your finger from the touchscreen when "Erase all user data?" appears
5.Touch Yes

Method 2
1.Turn the nuvi on
2.Touch View Map
3.Touch the data field that displays speed
4.Touch and hold your finger on the center of the speedometer until the screen changes (about six seconds)
5.Touch Clear all user data
6.Touch Yes to confirm

I don't know where to place this post, so I'll try it under my unit.

1. My Nuvi 3790LT 's free updates expires at the end of this month, any ideas as to what future updates costs?

2. Eve though my Nuvi 3790 is compatible with the eco RouteHD and I tested it in a different car, I could not get it to work in my 2011 New Polo hatch, any other experiences with this?

3. Are there any able (and close enough) helpers out there, that are willing to help me upgrade this Nuvi3790 to the newer Nuvi3490 software(Firmware)?
