Garmap Release cycle

Discussion of the maps available in South Africa in the various sub-folders: Garmap, Navteq, T4A, OSM, etc.
More sub-folders will be created as we go along and the need arises.

What is the release cycle of the Garmap series. When can we expect the next release?

Nefie normally we would have the first release for 2013 by now. Unfortunatly when the Garmap Forum closed down we lost all contact with Garmap so we are in the dark as to when or if. I will try to get information from as to their future release plans and post it here.

Hi Nefie and members,

I have on separate occasions asked the Trappers Trading and Cape Union Mart stores on different dates and they all confirmed early April 2013.
