If you reset "all user data" on your Nuvi 3490 "Hard Reset"
After Hard Reset if you set your country to "UK" instead of "South africa" you will have a new choice in the "Map and Vehicle" Menu
The Choice will be Audible Speed Alerts
If it is On it will alert you if your speed exceeds that programmed for the road that you are travelling on.
Tested it this morning it gives you a triple bong when you exceed, Could be helpfull for Highway Driving
"Might work on 3590 25x5, 24x5 as well" 2012 Series
