Has anyone tried sunchronizing BaseCanp between 2 PC's using DropBox?
I sucessfilly sync'ed BaseCamp between my office PC and home Laptop using "SugarSync" but unfortunatly they have now discontinued the free service.
It worked very well as I never used both computers at the same time and any changes I made on one machine were automatically on the other as soon at I started BaseCamp.
SygarSunc had the advantage that you could "sync" any folders on the computer and not only folders in a specific folder such as DropBox.
I have heard on some overseas forums that this is being done using "DropBox"

Re: Synchronizing BaseCamp between 2 PC's with DropBox
Have a look at this.
Cloud Storage
BaseCamp can store and sync up to 150MB of data in the cloud, per Garmin account.
Data stored in the cloud will be synced with all computers running BaseCamp software logged into the same account.
Any changes made to data stored in the cloud on one computer will be duplicated on all computers signed into the same Garmin account when they are synced.
At this time, folder and list structure within the cloud is not supported.

It's Not quite what you are looking for but I find it very helpful.
Also if your computer crashes you still have your triplogs routes etc etc
Also you can have more than one account on Garmin.com
