You would be surprised to know how many of the old forum members gave up their occupation as IT or IT specialist. in one of my post on the termination of the forum I specifically appealed for advice and help form the IT guys on the forum.

Hi all,

Sorry about the downtime. My father-in-law inadvertantly kicked the power button on the UPS, resulting in the output power going down and the server going offline. Will have to revise that one.

Hi all,

The buttons are no longer in bumping range of either knee or shoe.

I didn't see it until I tried to refresh the page and saw nothing. I turned to a dead server and started to panic, thinking the power supply had blown. Why something said to me to look at the UPS, I can't answer you. But both units are now standing upright and out of kick's way.

Hi all,

Here is the whole array of what I call my bits and pieces. I have changed the UPS's to stand upright to prevent this evening's outage from occuring again.

Confession time for me. I love to play and break things to see how they work. So when this challenge was out there for the taking, I first tried to see the plausability and here we are today.
