Nuvi 2597lmt

#2955

Post by w429074n »

Purchased a new Nuvi 2597lmt from Incredible Connection. They were on Special and I got the unit, a 4gig mem card and 3 year extended warranty (5 year in total) for the normal price of the unit. :-)

I'm still getting used to it, and quite impressed with the unit.

Display is big enough and clear, back light adequate in daylight. Sound is good, only struggles a bit with with voice commands.

Screen updates while driving is smooth. Noticed that Street Maps have more overall "road detail" than the new City Navigator map.

Welcome to the forum. All the new features like junction view and lane assist has changed the GPs from a nice to have to accentual to have. I don't know how I ever got around without one. I totally agree with you on the Garmap vs City Navigator quality. The big pluss of the switch to the city Navigator series is the speed limit display and of course Junction view.
