Driving "jantuisbly se Karretjie" What can go wrong?

Ok so The topic says it all, but what if 'Jantuisbly se Karretjie" breek. Eish?

Even with the most advanced diagnostic equipment in the world:-

The diagnosing of the pending failure of the clutch wasn't possible, due to it being of a mechanical nature.

Failure of a component that functions on a daily basis is inevitable, along with normal wear and tear.

Dis k@k. And that after having worked hard a whole year to be deprived of the joy of sharing some time with family. Hence they have been spared another year.

Hi Darryl,
I drove a Fiat 124ST, trough peak hour traffic in PRETORIA on a Friday afternoon all the way to White River without a clutch, but that was those days. Happy to say my son's Boss lent him his bakkie to come and visit and we are having a jolly good time.

Hi Swannie,

The days of being able to drive a car without a clutch (that is cable operated) are since long gone. Everything these days is either electric and/or hydraulic. I remember when I had to drive a Citroen D Super 5 without a clutch also in peak traffic in Pietermaritzburg. Nice to hear the Boss played ball and helped out.
