The downgrading of Garmap maps to CN Southern Africa is almost a laugh if I just could find anything funny about it. To Balfour, from Grootvlei the speed limit indicated on the GPS'r is 100km/h going one way and 80k/h going the other way. Going into Heidelberg on the R23, after crossing the N3, none of the updated speed limits are correct.

Yes I travelled that road quite a few years during the 80's to and from work. It is the main access road to Vaal Reefs 9 shaft before they paved the link to the R30. What on earth caused Here (Navteq) to reclassify some roads after the 2014.2 update.
Prior to 2014.3 the classification was paved for that section and some other roads that were wrongly reclassified.

Daar is nhele paar voorbeelde waar n teer pad in die middel vir n paar kilos as unpaved maak die gevolg is jou GPS vat jou ander draaie om by jou bestemming te kom

Die frustrasie is dat ʼn mens nie direk met HERE Kommunikeer nie maar met Garmin as ‘n tussenganger. Hopelik sal die persoon by Garmin Gratogrphy vir wie ek ‘n link hiernatoe getuur het woord hou en die topic monitor.
