I have been wondering if anyone has updated their Garmin map pilot using POI on their W205 Mercedes yet?

Thanks Jan, I have been successful in updating the Garmin Map Pilot on the car by using POI loader some time ago already. But was wondering if anyone else had.
Reason is, when the system warns you of a potential traffic cam position, the sound completely goes off (if you're listening to the radio / cd etc... instead of just lowering the volume or something. Once you've passed the location of the cam, it a few seconds before the sound returns to the radio etc. Maybe someone has a way to fix this issue as it's quite irritating.

Mark reading through the thread in the link it is clear that although the hardware is Garmin sourced the Soft and firmware is developed by Mercedes. it seem that the problem is that the firmware mutes the radio for the duration of the time traveling in the proximity zone. One would need to convert an original .gpi Poi file back to .gpx format to see how it was setup to be able to make the changes for our files to work on that satnav. If any one has used our data on the Merc satnav and solved the muting problem please tell us about it. Your input will be appreciated.

Hi, is there live traffic available for South Africa on the W205 Garmin Map Pilot? If so, what does one need to do to get this?
