Hi all,
As gps technology has become commonplace and most people have switched from dedicated GPS devices to smart phones, the GPS related forums are dying. Many of them only get a handful of posts a week now, if that,(this forum none at all),except for the RHD Data being made available each month by Frans Viljoen and Jan Horn. Even with that said, the volume of activity on this forum is declining too. I am afraid the continuing decline of GPS forums is inevitable, and will eventually cause forums to close down, including this forum, and if that happens, it will be great loss for many.
I just hope it will not be in my lifetime.
Personally, I come here to see if anyone has discovered something new that is neat and cool, and to lend what expertise we have to those needing help. If a cookie gets tossed our way, then that's just a bonus!
So fellow forumites, if possible, please contribute to the forum.....and help the forum to stay alive!!!!!!!!!
Thank you to Darryl,(fugglefeet) for upkeeping the server maintenance part of the forum.

Regards
