I had a technical problem, and still have the issue, but hopefully it will be resolved soon, on a DriveSmart 65 Pnd, and sent an email, as a matter of fact, a few emails to Garmin.com, and for one or other reason I received an email from Garmin SA, about my problem on the above unit, ....problem quoted...

When unit starts up, prompt appears: "New extras data found on card - Install this data to make it available if the card is removed" .......Clicking in the "Do not ask me again block and pressing No tab - THE UNIT FREEZES and must be restarted again. 2.Selecting speed from the map to reset fields, all fields are reset, except for MAX. SPEED. The only way to reset the max. speed is to do a full reset to Default Settings. After unit has been reset, and connected to vehicle, max speed is recorded and once again unable to reset MAX. SPEED on unit. Help needed with these problems please. Your return email, and I quote....

Hello Phillip, Please feel free to return your device to the Garmin dealer you purchased it from or alternatively you can also return the device to the below list of Garmin dealers however a handing fee might be applied by the dealer: I've returned the unit to Garmin SA, and they've replaced the old unit with a new one. After updating the new unit, the same problem as described above, is happening. Is there a firmware problem present in Software Version 860?, and if not, why does this problem happen on two different units?
