Base map

Hi, I was working on Garmin base map, today and my GPS was connected to my computer and suddenly the whole of base map was full of trcks4africa icons when I disconnected my gps they all the tracks4africa icons were gone, reconnected my gps and all tracks4africa icons were back, I updated my base map today before I connected my gps, any body had the same experience

Hi Robert. T4A (Tracks for Africa) is installed on the internal memory of the Gps, and is not part of Basecamp. So when you connect your Gps to your pc, Basecamp imports all internal data. Therefore you'll see all the T4A icons and when you disconnect your Gps the icons disappear from Basecamp.

Hi Philip this is the first time I noticed it, I use my Base map about twice a week, and have never experienced it, not that it is a problem
it just surprised me that's all it doesn't bother me, but thanks for the reply

Hello Robert,

Soos Phillip hier bo gesê het.

As jy nie hou van die T4A nie, gaan na jou Poi folder van jou Nuvi en delete die 3 files wat iets met Tracks4Africa op het. (.gma, .gpi en .unl)
T4A word elke keer met 'n Map update geinstalleer op jou device.
As jy dit gedelete het en later dit weer wil gebruik, moet jy net weer die City Navigator map her-installeer.

Dankie vir die raad Frans, dit is net 'n besloernis want daar is soveel icons dat dit moeilik is om 'n roete uit te werk, hoe gaan dit daar met jou ek hoop goed
