Montana Operating Instructions

Hi,

I am starting this thread to list FAQ's or just some interesting stuff.

You need to setup the "Enabled" mapsets on each profile. Eg. Recreational and Automotive can be configured to use different mapsets.

You can set the Volume of the Montana when mounted in the Auto Mount by clicking the "Power" button. It will then show you the brightness and volume slider. It will only show the brightness button when not mounted.

I will keep adding to this list as I encounter more.

Regards,
Derick

·Added support for new tempe sensor. SeeTrailTech (http://garmin.blogs.com/softwareupdates ... ensor.html) for more information.
·Added ability to view multicolored satellites on the Satellite page.
·Added ability to delete multiple waypoints.
·Added ability to clear the Recent Finds list.
·Improved load times for geocache descriptions.

Yep, as posted in the Firmware Forum on Aug 30th, '12, 20:27.
Any discussion of the Firmware to be conducted over
HERE as duplicate postings lead to unnecessary cross-reference replies.
