Reporting City Navigator Map Errors

There are two ways to report City Navigator map errors:
1. Register on http://www.here.com/mapcreator
2. Report errors on https://my.garmin.com/mapErrors/report.faces


If users use option 2 above Garmin can try to expedite issues being resolved by up to one quarter, it also allows Garmin visibility to common issues that we need to address with HERE.

When sending an e-mail supply as much detail as possible.
The required details, in a MapSource/BaseCamp *.gdb file, would be the correct co-ords and other relevant detail. Please ensure that street names, POI, road numbers, etc. are spelled correctly to prevent incorrect data being taken up in the database.
Where possible a densely recorded track at .01Km, or a 1 second intervals, would also be of tremendous help.

Thank you for the link.

As you know, we get our map data from Here, (formerly known as Navteq). We value input from our end users, and would like to communicate any errors in the map to Here to have them corrected as soon as possible.

If you have contact with the Forum administrators, please ask them to update the error reporting methods to:

1. Register on http://www.here.com/mapcreator
2. Report errors on https://my.garmin.com/mapErrors/report.faces

The email address listed on the forum currently does not exist on our end, so this cannot be used to report errors.

I have a meeting with the local here representative on the 22nd of June and will bring the forum under his attention as well.
